Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners Association of Nigeria

The field of Oncology Pharmacy practice in Nigeria has witnessed impressive changes and growth over the last decade and pharmacists working in this specialty have undertaken and/or delivered specialised education, clinical practice, and research.

A growing need for collaborative relationships, professional communication, and support was the catalyst for initiating different symposia and workshops on Oncology Pharmacy Practice in and across Nigeria, this subsequently lead to the formation of the Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OPPAN) in 2019 with interim leadership cutting across the six geopolitical regions, after the first general meeting of the proposed Nigerian Oncology Pharmacist Association (NOPA) at National Ear Care Center (NECC) Kaduna on 6th Nov. 2019.

This website has been developed with the aim of informing OPPAN members and other interested personnel about OPPAN's purpose, mission, and vision. It includes the Mission Statement, and Goals, Constitution and Rules of the association. The current officers are identified. Please feel free to contact them for further information.
